Our Mission:

Beaumont, a Catholic school in the Ursuline tradition, educates women for life, leadership and service.

Our Vision:

To achieve the position of “simply the best” regional, private, Catholic high school for girls in the greater Cleveland area and to continue to succeed based on adherence to the Ursuline tradition and on the continuing charism of St. Angela.

Our Goals:

Confident that the directions we have set will enhance our current position and programming and prepare us for a challenging future, we ask you to join us in prayer and planning to make Beaumont School “simply the best.”

 Strategic Goals 2006-2010

I. To perpetuate the Catholicity of Beaumont and the vibrant Ursuline experience for students

  Responsible Committee(s):

Academic/Spiritual Life, Trustees

Tactics:

A.  Enhance the institutional climate

B.   Develop a Campus Ministry Plan

C.  Educate students who will identify and articulate Catholic moral values and Catholic doctrine

  II. To graduate faith-filled, well-educated, well-rounded women

 Responsible Committee(s):

 Academic/Spiritual Life, Finance, Development

 Tactics:

A.     Fully implement the School Improvement Plan

B.     Fully implement the Master Facilities Plan

C.     Review and adjust salary scale to balance young with experienced faculty/staff

D.     Provide professional development opportunities for faculty

E.      Evaluate the opportunity for school use of convent property

 III. To develop resources that enhance the financial health and advance the mission

 Responsible Committee(s):

Development, Finance, Executive

 Tactics:

A.     Grow scholarship endowment and maintain Ursuline sponsorship, philosophy and mission

B.   Undertake tuition assistance study: evaluate full cost and sliding scale tuition

C.   Continue work on current phase of Capital Campaign

D.   Strengthen alumnae giving and participation

IV. To optimize enrollment of quality students

 Responsible Committee(s):

Marketing, Finance, Development

 Tactics:

A.     Develop website and other technology aimed at recruiting girls

B.     Optimize and develop a consistent and effective tag line for branding purposes

C.     Research the impact of scholarships on recruitment and retention

D.     Reach out to realtors, relocation specialists and HR personnel at corporations

E.  Collect and disseminate data relevant to recruitment planning

F.  Optimize our feeder school and parish recruitment efforts

     G.  Establish a process for identifying factors contributing to student retention
