St. Angela, watch over our days

St. Ursula, protect our future

Sr. Dorothy Kazel, walk with us

Beaumont School’s Campus Ministry thrives on our Catholic faith and active leadership. Grounded in the Ursuline tradition and the teachings of St. Angela Merici, Campus Ministry is further inspired by the legacy of Sr. Dorothy Kazel, OSU, a Beaumont teacher and guidance counselor who was martyred in El Salvador in 1980 while living her faith in action.

The Sr. Dorothy Kazel Peace & Justice Institute

All students are invited to actively participate in faith, service, and leadership experiences across 8 focus areas throughout their Beaumont Career:

  • Liturgy Commission
  • Music Ministry
  • Serviam
  • Peer Ministry
  • Retreats
  • B-Just Beaumont Social Justice Club
  • Company of Angela
  • Mission Trips

Serviam

Through community involvement our students respond to the call to serve a purpose larger than themselves. From the unborn to the elderly and in environments ranging from local agencies to global relief efforts, they live out the teachings of St. Angela.

As a graduation requirement and expression of faith, compassion, and justice, Beaumont students meet (and most times, exceed) our service standards as a core of their high school education:

  • 25 hours freshman year
  • 25 hours sophomore year
  • 30 hours junior year

Beaumont School further extends our leadership into the greater community through active membership in the Ursuline Education Network, Catholic Schools for Peace & Justice Network, and Gold Standard Designation from the Catholic Relief Services.

Prayer Requests

Our Beaumont Community prayerfully supports special intention requests.  Upon receipt of your request, your intention is added to our Book of Prayer and a stone is added to our prayer feature in the St. Angela Merici Chapel.  Our school community prays for your intention through our daily prayer, class prayers, all-school masses, and special times of prayer gathering.
