Beaumont Plagiarism Statement

All digital written assignments must use the student's Beaumont Google account and Google Docs to provide evidence of their ongoing writing process.  Teachers must be able to access the complete version history, proper citation, and an accurate list of works cited.  In the absence of any of these requirements, the student's work cannot be verified and assessed, and therefore, will receive no credit.  In addition, all student work will be subjected to an originality review, including but not limited to, TurnitIn.com, Google Classroom Originality Check, and AI Content Detector.

Summer Assignments

Below is the summer reading information for all class levels. After you locate your class-level assignment attached to the readings, please review them carefully. If you have any questions, you should contact your next year's English teacher before school ends. Rising seniors: be aware you have been assigned a college essay to write as well.

Turnitin.com information will be given to you in your English classes once school begins. Your summer papers for all class levels will be due soon after we return to school, at the beginning of the second week.

    A graphic novel from the perspective of the actor George Takei about growing up partially in the Japanese American Internment camps during WWII.
