Public Relations & Marketing Manager

Member of the Development Team; Reports to the Director of Development/President; Full Time, Exempt Salaried.

Primary Responsibilities: Providing marketing strategies for annual development/admissions goals of the school; develop all marketing collateral including print, digital and social media while maintaining the Beaumont brand and message consistency throughout all Beaumont materials – print and digital; prepare varying traditional and digital materials/publications for distribution to various constituents and for all department needs/events; manage website design and content management; oversee budget; write/coordinate press releases and media pitches/ story placement through media contacts; work with the Board Marketing Committee as staff liaison; photograph department/school events for marketing/PR/social media use; and leveraging technology through expanded use of social media and the web.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in communications/related field and/or five years’ comparable work experience in the field; familiar with Microsoft Office platform as well as graphic design programs, web programs and implementation of all; knowledge of best practices in new media communications; extensive writing experience including strong editorial and journalistic knowledge; superior oral, written, interpersonal communication skills; excellent organization/project management skills; flexible, collaborative work style; experience working as team player as well as independently to positively impact strategic goals of school; ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines; willingness to work extra hours, evenings and weekends (seasonally) to meet the demands of the job.
