Catholic Grade School Applicants
We’re thrilled that you’re considering continuing your Catholic education at Beaumont! If you have not done so already, please create a Parent Portal. Catholic grade schools instruct families on how to use the Diocesean application in early January, and the Diocseasn application is due to grade schools on January 12, 2026. Catholic applications are sent only to the student’s first-choice school as noted on the application. Students interested in attending Beaumont School should indicate Beaumont as their first choice. The Catholic application, together with the student’s records, are forwarded to the Beaumont Admissions Office by the applicant’s school. However, applicants must complete additional aspects of the Beaumont application through the Parent Portal, specifically the Personal Statement and the HSPT score upload (if not completed at Beaumont). If applicants indicate Beaumont School is their first choice, but they are not admitted, Beaumont will automatically forward their applications to their second choice school and notify the family. Please mark your calendars with a few important application deadlines:

--January 12: Make sure your application is submitted through your Catholic grade school in order to be considered for Beaumont’s Class of 2030! Go Blue Streaks!

Admission FAQs
Does Beaumont accept state scholarships?
Yes, Beaumont accepts four Ohio Department of Education State Scholarships. You are eligible to apply for one of these scholarships once your student is enrolled at Beaumont: EdChoice, EdChoice Expansion (see EdChoice Expansion Amounts by FPL), Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN), or Cleveland. All families are eligible for an ODE State Scholarship.
When will we know what financial package we are being offered?
Financial aid packages will be emailed to families as a PDF letter by Saturday, December 8, 2025. If you have questions or concerns about the package offered, contact Carie Young at cayoung@beaumontschool.org. Please note that the offer of a financial package is contingent upon admission to Beaumont School and does not serve as an understanding of acceptance.
If my student is a public, charter, or homeschool applicant, what are the required pieces of the Beaumont application?
First, make sure you have a Parent Portal, which will build a personalized application checklist for your student. On the checklist, items prefaced with "Application Item" are required for application to Beaumont School. These include the Prospective Student Profile; results of the Entrance Exam; School Records (academic, attendance, and conduct records, along with standardized test scores, from 6-8th grades); two core subject Teacher Recommendations; and a Personal Statement. Applications are due January 20.
If my student currently attends a Catholic school, how will she apply?
Your Catholic school will guide you through the process and send a complete Catholic school application to us. We will then upload the application to your student’s checklist under the item “Catholic Application form.” You do not need to complete additional application items on the Portal checklist. Applications open for Catholic school students on January 5 and are due to your Catholic school on January 12. Catholic school students should be sure to select Beaumont as their first choice on the Catholic school application or we will not have access to their application.
How will my daughter find out if she is accepted?
On February 12, students who are accepted will receive a special delivery on their doorstep and families will receive an email. Families with students who are not accepted at Beaumont will be notified by phone call and email on February 11.
I missed the November deadline to complete my FACTS tuition assistance application. What now?
Complete your FACTS application now. If funds remain, you will be considered for a financial aid package. If you have trouble uploading documents to FACTS, please contact them directly at 866-441-4637. If you do not require financial assistance from Beaumont School, you are not required to complete a FACTS application.
Are there specific admissions steps I need to follow if my student currently has an IEP, ETR, 504, or other accommodations plan?
All students with an IEP, ETR, 504, or other accommodations plan should have taken the HSPT at Beaumont on October 25 with accommodations or called to arrange an alternate testing appointment; additionally, families should have uploaded current documentation, including Individual Education Plan (IEP), Evaluation Team Report (ETR), 504, and/or other formal plans by October 12. Please contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@beaumontschool.org or 216-325-1661 with any questions.
My daughter did not qualify for Academic or Presidential merit scholarships. Is there a scholarship she can apply for that is not merit-based?
YES! In addition to the Beaumont legacy and sister scholarships, Beaumont offers the “Life, Leadership, Service Scholarship.” All incoming freshmen, regardless of HSPT score, are invited to apply by writing an essay of 500 words or less responding to the following prompt: “Beaumont educates women for life, leadership and service. How have you served others, demonstrated authentic leadership, or taken on new tasks or challenges to live a purposeful life?” Awards are up to $500. Please submit the essay to the Parent Portal by November 30.
