#Beaumont Travels: Ekalaka, MT, Summer Dino Dig Program, Day 4

Hello everyone!

Day 4 was our last field day. Everyone has found something! Tomorrow we will be heading down to Devil's Tower National Monument, America's first national monument.

We spent the morning looking at a state adminstered section (township and range system 36 1sq mi sections per). It was another opportunity for everyone to see how institutions from across the country collaborate to bring the science to the public. Scott Williams and his crew from the Museum of the Rockies discovered a partial Triceratops skeleton, including frill (shield).

We then went to the Ninja Turtle site and finshed up excavating a few bones. I was able to tell them and our New Zealand friends about top jacketing and flipping jackets.

It was in the mid 80s today and was very pleasant.

Enjoy the great pictures Jenna Langa keeps providing.
