A Message to our Beaumont Community

Posted on September 20, 2023 in Articles

For nearly 175 years, Beaumont students, faculty, and staff have been guided by the Ursuline charism that calls us to respect the intrinsic dignity of all human life without exception. We believe that we are each made in the image and likeness of a loving God. St. Angela Merici modeled a deep and unconditional love of God. The same love for God overflowed into her love for other people. She was a reconciler and people sought her counsel, recognizing her great heart of compassion. Her Counsels and Christ’s example in the Gospels are the models for our Ursuline tradition at Beaumont School.

For those who may not be aware, Beaumont is not a diocesan school. As an ordered school sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, Beaumont is not included in the diocesan policy on sexuality and gender. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Yours in St. Angela,

President Wendy A. Hoke
