Beaumont’s golf program, developed under beloved Beaumont Athletic Hall of Fame coach Mr. Gary Bill, held its inaugural season in 1997 with 12 members.
Over the years, the program continued to grow and find success on the course. In 2013, the team consisting of Elizabeth Corrado ’16, Jennifer Corrado ’14, Katherine Corrado ’14, Cassandra Heathcote ’14 and Elizabeth Mosier ’14 was the first in school history to qualify for the state tournament in the sport. The quintet ended the tournament with an eighth place finish.
Three Beaumont golfers have reached the state tournament as individuals: Lesley Monachino Bertin ’02 in 2001 (sixth place), Erin Adams ’17 in 2016 (11th place), and Lauren Bangasser ’22 in 2020 (13th place).
