Northeast Ohio Science & Engineering Fair Winners Announced

Congratulations to all our Beaumont scholars who competed at the recent Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair. Our students displayed mastery of all academic disciplines in this competition. In addition to strength in science, they must also exhibit excellence in mathematics, writing, research skills, language, grammar, statistics, data analysis, presentation skills, history, social sciences, computer skills, art, design, and public speaking.
All 12 Beaumont competitors received awards at the virtual awards ceremony. Gold Medal winners include sophomore Lauren Merdes, and freshman Gracie Plecha, Cecilija Rowane, and Jess Toohig. Silver medalists were Emilia Del Paggio '24, Catherine Hoover '23, and Audrey Zorman '21. The Bronze medal to Lily Brightman '24 and Josie Smyser '23 and finally Honorable mention to sophomores Monica Harmat and Molly Manning and freshman Quinnie Van de Walle.
Over 80 professional associations and other organizations also presented special awards, and Beaumont students received 31 awards:
