Since 2011, All-School Service Day has become a beloved tradition at Beaumont School. This year, students, faculty, and staff joined together to participate in service projects at Beaumont School and at the following locations: Cleveland Cultural Gardens; Metro Catholic Schools; Kids’ Book Bank; Community Greenhouse Partners; St. Agatha-St. Aloysius; St. Malachi; and Nature Center at Shaker Lakes.
Students who remained on campus were busy weaving plastic bags into sleeping mats for the homeless, repairing donated toys with RePlay, making sandwiches for St. Malachi Center, sewing shawls for those in nursing homes, writing letters to our Ursuline sisters, and beautifying Beaumont’s grounds. The day ended with an all-school sharing session, where it was clear just how our girls understand and revere St. Angela’s guidance that we all “have more need to serve others, than they have to be served.”
