Beaumont School Senior Grace Salata selected to participate in the Take the World Forward Fellowship

Cleveland Heights, Ohio- Grace Salata, a senior at Beaumont School was selected to participate in the Take the World Forward Fellowship, a 6-month virtual fellowship that collaborates with Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations, MIT Solv[ED], and the Leadership Institute at Harvard College. The hand-selected participants from across the world will work together to identify some of today’s biggest challenges, think critically, and brainstorm sustainable solutions under the guidance of the Ivy-League mentors.
The key takeaways from this program for the participants are working on problem-based projects, access to MIT Solv[ED] Workshops, open-minded discussions with global mentors, enhancement of communication skills, and the development of leadership skills.
Grace was inspired by the IB Diploma Programme she is currently undertaking at Beaumont. “I’m confident this Fellowship will provide me an opportunity to use the skills I have acquired through my IB courses for real life, global situations. I hope to learn how to more concretely solve world issues such as homelessness, hunger, and global warming through communication and technology.”
