Tim Ertle of Beaumont School Honored with Prestigious Bruce Brown Award of Excellence

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OHIO (November 22, 2024) — Beaumont School proudly announces that Tim Ertle, Athletic Director, has been awarded the esteemed Bruce Brown Award of Excellence by the Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA). This award recognizes outstanding efforts in implementing best practices and nationally accepted standards in education-based athletic programming.
Mr. Ertle’s submission was one of 32 exemplary entries from across the state of Ohio, evaluated based on
a rigorous rubric and criteria. His work not only reflects his commitment to the values of education-based athletics but also showcases Beaumont School’s dedication to providing high-quality interscholastic athletic opportunities for student-athletes.
“This award is a testament to Tim’s tireless efforts in promoting excellence and fostering an athletic program that prioritizes education and character development,” said Principal Wendy Hoke. “We are incredibly proud of the work that he and Assistant Athletic Director Courtney Young ’06 do on behalf of our scholar-athletes. We congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition.”
The award was presented at a special ceremony during the OIAAA State Conference in Columbus, Ohio, on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 12:00 PM.
The Bruce Brown Award of Excellence highlights the leadership and dedication of athletic administrators who continue to elevate Ohio’s standing as a leader in interscholastic athletics.
