Scholastic Art Awards 2026

POSTED — Tuesday, May 05, 2026

Scholastic Art Awards is the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative students. A panel of local professional artists, art educators, writers, and writing educators jury the exhibit and select the awarded pieces from nearly 2,000 entries. Gold Key recipients from the regional competition automatically get entered into the national competition.

This year, Juliet Novotny '27 won a National Gold Medal for her scratchboard, "Father". This is a very notable accomplishment culminating in an awards ceremony, June 10, 2026 at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Congratulations to our Studio Artists who received 22 awards at the 2026 Scholastic Art Competition.
